This was my very first internet service ever. It was OK at first but then when they had software updates......that's when the problems start. The old software wouldn't completely uninstall and the higher versions wont work cuz of that. I contacted support by email and it has been about a week without a response. So now I cant use freei. Well, actually I can but only without the ads cuz the ads wont display... it just says 'this page cannot be displayed' and it will not allow IE5 to work with freei but atleast I can use Netscape, and with no flashing ads. Speed is very fast. I usually get 33600 on my 33600 modem.

I have no problem with connection. Always on with first dial up and I live in a large city with hundreds of thousands of people. It comes short of 5 stars because they seem to have ongoing problems with their email. Not only their own but with conjunctions programs such as Outlook Express. Most of the time I can receive through them or OE but more often than not I can not send and it becomes extrememly frustrating.

FreeI may have lots of connection numbers but usually will show an error such as Monitor error because of the ad banner. It also requires you to click on their main page just to browse the web. To top it off, slow connection and constant surveys make me give this ISP 1 star.

Can't ever complete a full session with FreeI. Always ends prematurely with a "fatal error" and a system crash
